She has worked with a diverse range of clients, from those recovering from injuries and conditions to individuals looking to improve core strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Her expertise in Classical Pilates allows her to tailor sessions that help clients find deep connections within their bodies to achieve their personal fitness and rehabilitation goals.
Her favorite Pilates exercise? The Teaser—she loves the challenge, precision, and control it demands. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her studying Pilates, refining her own practice, or taking classes to continue growing as both a student and instructor.
Emily Mongan – Classical Pilates Instructor Hypermobility & Movement Specialist
Emily is a third-generation Classical Pilates instructor with a deep passion for helping clients build strength, control, and mind-body awareness. Comprehensively trained in the classical Pilates method, she teaches a variety of Pilates classes, including group reformer, mat, and private sessions, customizing each experience to meet individual needs.
With a special interest in hypermobility and movement mechanics, Emily is dedicated to helping hypermobile clients develop stability, core strength, and joint support. She believes that Pilates is a powerful tool for creating balance, improving movement patterns, and preventing injury—especially for those with hypermobility, joint instability, or chronic pain.
Her goal is to make Pilates accessible and empowering for everyone, whether they’re beginners, athletes, or those in rehabilitation. When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her advancing her own practice, researching movement science, or discovering new ways to inspire her students.
